AUBURN, N.Y. — October 15, 2026 — Currier Plastics, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) serving the medical device, pharmaceutical, diagnostic and consumer markets, today announced its rebranding to Alentra.
Alentra represents the next stage of Currier's evolution from a plastics component manufacturer into a full-service healthcare and life sciences CDMO. The company offers product design, prototyping, and development services from the early stages of a client’s product lifecycle, with capabilities to support scale up to commercial scale component manufacturing and finished device assembly.
“Over the past year, we have brought together outstanding development, engineering, and manufacturing organizations to create a more comprehensive CDMO. Alentra reflects the depth of talent and capabilities we now offer across the entire product lifecycle.” said Mr. Andrew McLean, Chief Executive Officer of Alentra.
Together, Alentra signals a trusted ally that streamlines complexity and delivers integrated healthcare development and manufacturing solutions with quality and confidence. The new logo, featuring a flowing wave, represents a seamless path from product design to finished product.
“Our new brand reflects a new level of speed, confidence, and end-to-end precision for customers, while uniting the capabilities of our recently integrated businesses.” continued Mr. McLean.
Currier acquired California-based Springboard Manufacturing and MOS Plastics in December 2025, and Massachusetts-based Sage Product Development in August 2026.
